- New: Can I retire?, a quick answer with Social Security at 62, full retirement age or 70, for Oregon PERS, Washington DRS, FERS or any pension.
- New calculators: FERS sick leave, FERS military buyback, single life or survivor option, take-home pay after taxes and how long savings last.
- New systems: Washington DRS, CalPERS, CalSTRS and Idaho PERSI.
- 36 new guides on Oregon PERS, FERS and the TSP, Social Security, Medicare, survivor options, lump sums and taxes, plus a glossary of 100 retirement words and Retirement numbers for 2027.
- Every older guide now has a worked example and common questions. Corrected: Oregon PERS final average salary is the higher of your three best years or your last 36 months; the FERS MRA+10 cut is waived with 20 years when the annuity starts at 60 or later; a FERS survivor annuity smaller than the full one needs your spouse's consent.
- The countdown checklist now dates each step and adds them to your calendar. My plan shows everything you've saved on your device.
- Added this page and How we check our numbers.
- Added a "Keep reading" list to the end of every guide and grouped the guides page by topic.
- Added a site icon and a page for addresses that don't exist.

- New look built for phones, with a tab bar along the bottom of the screen.
- New complete guides: Where to begin, Oregon PERS explained, Social Security explained and FERS explained.
- Added the Retirement countdown checklist and the guide to health insurance before 65.
- Added tap-to-open "i" buttons that explain each number, with links to the official source.
- Updated Social Security figures for 2027: bend points of $1,340 and $8,077 and an earnings limit of $25,560.
- Launched the Retirement Date Planner (Oregon PERS or FERS, Social Security, spouse options and Money Match) and the Oregon PERS Pension Estimator.
